Source activity for this week, alongside the latest reviewed roadmap. Work in progress remains separate from software qualified for production.
A signed Linux x86-64 validator upgrade and verification files were published on 22 September for existing synchronized Genesis-4 nodes.
Bloch Explorer now exposes transaction flows, epoch and validator views, observability telemetry, and a live count of peer connections reported by monitored nodes.
L2, DEX, bridge and wallet work added fail-closed evidence and activation gates; public native settlement, pools and bridge operations remain unqualified.
Engineering highlights and readiness were last reviewed on September 23, 2026; they are carried forward, not newly reverified this week.
02 / STATE OF THE CODE
Six fronts. One shared view.

Node & consensus
A signed Linux x86-64 upgrade binary from source commit dade5a33 was published on 22 September for existing synchronized Genesis-4 nodes. It is an upgrade artifact, not a fresh-bootstrap bundle.
What remains
Document rollout and mixed-version evidence, preserve prior binaries for rollback, and publish a fresh independently verified checkpoint and bootstrap bundle before new-node installation guidance is advanced.
Evidence & scope
The public release includes a signed SHA-256 manifest, build provenance and upgrade instructions. The release record does not by itself establish fleet-wide rollout or a recovery SLA.
The live explorer adds navigable transaction flows, epoch timelines, validator activity, mempool observer comparisons, and Grafana-backed chain, host and Kubernetes telemetry. A second globe visualizes reported peer connections.
What remains
Extend historical indexer coverage and distinguish unique network peers from repeated connection reports; retain source-freshness and corroboration labels.
Evidence & scope
The explorer deployment and public observability endpoint were checked on 23 September. Peer totals sum connections reported by active monitored nodes, not unique machines.
The experimental EVM gained a fail-closed production-entrypoint contract, lifecycle receipts, provenance checks and an offline frozen-genesis ceremony workflow for chain 700771.
What remains
Complete a real production node build, independently approve and freeze genesis, then qualify settlement, finality and state restoration end to end.
Evidence & scope
Reviewed the L2 README and 22 September source history. Its production delivery remains incomplete; synthetic entrypoint checks are not a launched L2.
PosternDEX retains its external-EVM interface. New pilot pool caps, semantic launch evidence and aggregate readiness checks are observation-only; native pool activation remains hard gated.
What remains
Authenticate a finalized deployment snapshot and custody roles, finish restart and reorg qualification, and obtain independent review before enabling native pools.
Evidence & scope
Reviewed the DEX README and 20–22 September commits. The repository makes no production network, router or native-pool activation claim.
The bridge added offline authority ceremony tooling, detached-signature handling, anchored reviewer trust inputs and durable observation checkpoints. These checks do not authorize minting or release.
What remains
Complete independent authority approval, production finality and custody qualification, and reconciliation of backing and redemptions before public native deposits.
Evidence & scope
Reviewed the bridge README and 21–22 September commits. Its readiness composer remains non-authorizing and no public native bridge service is claimed.
The published wallet continues to support its existing external-EVM routes. Product release logic now orders authenticated L2, bridge and DEX component gates and fails closed when evidence is missing.
What remains
Qualify the intended route and asset matrix, receipt-bound recovery, and authenticated component releases before enabling native Bloch aggregation.
Evidence & scope
Reviewed the wallet README and 22 September release-gate commits. The new gates are source work, not proof that native Bloch execution is live.
Readiness is evidence-based. No completion percentages or promised dates.
In progressNode release
Qualify the signed validator upgrade rollout
Collect mixed-version, canary, rollback and recovery evidence for the 22 September upgrade; keep new-node bootstrap separate.
PendingNode release
Renew trusted bootstrap guidance
Publish and independently verify a current checkpoint and complete bundle, then measure Linux cold sync and restart resource limits.
In progressProtocol integration
Connect EVM execution to native settlement
Freeze chain 700771 genesis with independent approval, build the production node and qualify authenticated state/finality beyond local execution.
In progressProtocol integration
Complete native DEX and bridge integration
Keep activation gates closed until custody, reserve/liability accounting, replay protection, finality, reorg recovery and independent approval are verified.
In progressApplication release
Qualify wallet and aggregator delivery
Verify supported networks and assets, quote execution, rejection paths, receipt-based recovery and authenticated component gates.
In progressOperations
Maintain signed artifacts and operator evidence
Preserve the signed upgrade, publish dated rollout evidence and rollback instructions, and coordinate independent validators.

Commits show source activity. They do not prove a deployment.
Repository activity is collected automatically. Roadmap readiness retains its last engineering review date; commit activity is not deployment or test evidence.
