DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL / WEEKLY RELEASES

The week
in code.

What changed. What works.
What still needs to be built.

A weekly development report. Node binaries are published separately after qualification.

01 / THIS EDITION

A new week of development.

Source activity for this week, alongside the latest reviewed roadmap. Work in progress remains separate from software qualified for production.

Engineering highlights and readiness were last reviewed on September 23, 2026; they are carried forward, not newly reverified this week.

02 / STATE OF THE CODE

Six fronts. One shared view.

Engineering review

01Validation pending

Node & consensus

A signed Linux x86-64 upgrade binary from source commit dade5a33 was published on 22 September for existing synchronized Genesis-4 nodes. It is an upgrade artifact, not a fresh-bootstrap bundle.

Evidence & scope

The public release includes a signed SHA-256 manifest, build provenance and upgrade instructions. The release record does not by itself establish fleet-wide rollout or a recovery SLA.

Explorer & indexer

The live explorer adds navigable transaction flows, epoch timelines, validator activity, mempool observer comparisons, and Grafana-backed chain, host and Kubernetes telemetry. A second globe visualizes reported peer connections.

Evidence & scope

The explorer deployment and public observability endpoint were checked on 23 September. Peer totals sum connections reported by active monitored nodes, not unique machines.

EVM execution

The experimental EVM gained a fail-closed production-entrypoint contract, lifecycle receipts, provenance checks and an offline frozen-genesis ceremony workflow for chain 700771.

Evidence & scope

Reviewed the L2 README and 22 September source history. Its production delivery remains incomplete; synthetic entrypoint checks are not a launched L2.

DEX & native pools

PosternDEX retains its external-EVM interface. New pilot pool caps, semantic launch evidence and aggregate readiness checks are observation-only; native pool activation remains hard gated.

Evidence & scope

Reviewed the DEX README and 20–22 September commits. The repository makes no production network, router or native-pool activation claim.

Bridge & stablecoins

The bridge added offline authority ceremony tooling, detached-signature handling, anchored reviewer trust inputs and durable observation checkpoints. These checks do not authorize minting or release.

Evidence & scope

Reviewed the bridge README and 21–22 September commits. Its readiness composer remains non-authorizing and no public native bridge service is claimed.

06Integration testing

Wallet & aggregator

The published wallet continues to support its existing external-EVM routes. Product release logic now orders authenticated L2, bridge and DEX component gates and fails closed when evidence is missing.

Evidence & scope

Reviewed the wallet README and 22 September release-gate commits. The new gates are source work, not proof that native Bloch execution is live.

03 / THE ROADMAP

The work ahead.

Readiness is evidence-based.
No completion percentages or promised dates.

  1. In progressNode release

Qualify the signed validator upgrade rollout

Collect mixed-version, canary, rollback and recovery evidence for the 22 September upgrade; keep new-node bootstrap separate.

  2. PendingNode release

    Renew trusted bootstrap guidance

Publish and independently verify a current checkpoint and complete bundle, then measure Linux cold sync and restart resource limits.

  3. In progressProtocol integration

Connect EVM execution to native settlement

Freeze chain 700771 genesis with independent approval, build the production node and qualify authenticated state/finality beyond local execution.

  4. In progressProtocol integration

Complete native DEX and bridge integration

Keep activation gates closed until custody, reserve/liability accounting, replay protection, finality, reorg recovery and independent approval are verified.

  5. In progressApplication release

    Qualify wallet and aggregator delivery

Verify supported networks and assets, quote execution, rejection paths, receipt-based recovery and authenticated component gates.

  6. In progressOperations

Maintain signed artifacts and operator evidence

Preserve the signed upgrade, publish dated rollout evidence and rollback instructions, and coordinate independent validators.

04 / SOURCE ACTIVITY

Changes you can inspect.

Commits show source activity.
They do not prove a deployment.

Repository activity is collected automatically. Roadmap readiness retains its last engineering review date; commit activity is not deployment or test evidence.
